Flying Fruit Fly Circus logoThis was another wonderful exhibition by AWAS members, held 2 Sept 2014 to 5 Oct 2014 in our Paintbox Studio gallery.  The exhibition was held in conjunction with the Flying Fruit Fly Circus’s 35 years celebration, and our works, in all sorts of media, depicted circus themes in colourful array.

ABOUT BORDERVILLE

Help the Fruit Flies celebrate!!

Borderville is a weekend of circus, performance and art to celebrate 35 years of the world-famous Flying Fruit Fly Circus and their home on the Border.

AWAS will be part of that event, and our Studio Exhibition (2nd Sept- 5th Oct) will be works depicting circus themes, not specifically or exclusively the Fruit Flies, works can be any circus acrobats etc. There are reference photos of the ‘Fruit Flies’ at the studio.  Members can use these pictures which show active poses, movement, costuming and themes for paintings.

Please join in!!
