AWAS Inc. provides workshops, facilities and support for people interested in developing their artistic skills.

Well known local and interstate artists present regular workshops in life drawing and portraits; landscapes and still life; indoors and outdoors.

Other activities include exhibitions and sales, informal tutoring by helpful members, and in set classes, in most media. There is a monthly News Letter to which any member may contribute.

Studio is available for use by members every day

Our main activities during each month are: ( Check "Calendar" tab for updated informatiom)

  1. Weekly painting sessions at the  studio or outdoors if the weather is suitable, commencing at 10am on Wednesdays. We bring our own lunch, and material and do our own "thing".
  2. First Saturday of the month: Life Drawing with model - 1pm till 4pm. ($15 members, $20 non-members, $10 student concession).
  3. Third Saturday of the month:  Portrait session with model - 1.00 -4.pmpm  ($10 members, $15 non-members)
  4. Third Wednesday of the month: Monthly Meeting 12.30pm at The Studio.    All members welcome.
  5. Still life sessions every fourth Sunday ($2.00 for afternoon tea)12.30-4.00
