AWAS Inc. provides workshops, facilities and support for people interested in developing their artistic skills.

Well known local and interstate artists present regular workshops in life drawing, portraits, landscapes and still life.

Other activities include exhibitions and sales, informal tutoring by helpful members

The monthly News Letter sent by email or post keeps members informed of all activies.

Studio is available for use by members at all times

Members are required to man studio 2 days a year (3 hour shifts) Roster is available at Studio or on website

Our main activities during each month are: ( Check "Calendar" tab for updated informatiom)

  1. First Saturday of the month: Life Drawing -Model supplied 12.30l till 4pm. ($15 members, $20 non-members, $10 student concession).
  2. Third Saturday of the month:  Portrait session -Model supplied - 12.30 -4.pmpm  ($10 members, $15 non-members)
  3. Still Life -Subject supplied-12.30-4.00 ($2.00 for afternoon Tea)
  4. Social Day Wednesday is a good day to meet members as well as do a bit of painting  
  5. Annual Exhibition usually about Oct/Nov
  6. Sunday Exhibitions- Members are welcome to select a Sunday to exhibit their work.
  7. Monthly Exhibitions are available to members at Plant Farm Nursery Wodonga
  8. General Meetings -Third Wednesday of the month: 2.00-3.00  All members welcome.
